Ride dedicated to anil s kadsur for helping me prepare for my rides. 🙏

A really scenic route through the country side organised by Hubbali randonneurs. Thankyou Shettappa Pirangi for beautifully plotting this route. We were intially welcomed by thick fog which felt like riding within the clouds… and then the beautiful country side roads with cultivation Felids on either sides… windmills … so many many lakes… 

the route passed through an ancient temple Sri kedareshwara temple built in the 11-12 century by the Chalukyas…. And it also took us through the beautiful small village which is birth place of Akka Mahadevi… a poet of Kannada literature! I was so excited as I have read some of her poems in my kannada books during school and college. 

such a beautiful experience as it was so close to rural India, history and culture 😀 And not forget the lovely food rotti oota in khanavalis 😍👏
