Getting comfortable with a 2nd day on these roads I explored further off the main route. The road got rougher, narrower, twistier and more slick with moss; then the wild dogs came out. I was going full gas and they were right on my wheel but were deterred by getting Skratch squirted at them. See last pix: Took this bottle solely for a dog encounter. That was a clutch recommendation Thomas Watrucki​! 
PS. For 0.08 seconds I considered taking a pix of the dogs but the idea of trying to unclip from a crashed bike with dogs biting me somehow seemed not worth it.
