Agonisingly close to taking the victory, but I'm happy regardless 😁 The plan was to break away early and not leave it to a sprint finish. Unfortunately, it was left to a sprint finish...

Took the lead 14 minutes into the race, managed to get a decent sized gap but I knew I was being hunted down, neck on neck with about 300m to go, and overtaken in the last 50 yards.

May the best person win on the day! I couldn't have done anything better and given it anymore. We'll have another crack at it next year 👊
