A great day on the bike with noah swartz .

It started inauspiciously with a tumble on Planet of the Apes and a flat tire in Half Moon Bay.  But, it all worked out and nothing was damaged.  A huge shout-out to STRAIGHT WHEEL CYCLING for patching my tire.  I didn't think it needed to be patched, but they insisted to ensure a long-term fix.  They handled the insert in my tire with more skill and confidence than any other bike shop.  They clearly know what they are doing!

I have been eyeing this Permanent for a while because it features a 50 Epic Climbs of the SF Bay Area .  That was fun and traffic was light almost everywhere.  But, if you read noah swartz ' s write-up, you can see that there are still jerks around even when the traffic is light.

I was very surprised to see so much snow was left at the top of Highway 9 and all along Empire Grade.

Now, let the rains begin.
