Grateful for all my teachers. 

Everyone we meet on the path and everything we experience.

Mrs. Martin who was the first person and high school teacher to believe in me to run and finish the LA 15 years ago. This high school kid who ran it 5:23. 

Mr. Jones who saw me struggling, ran that first one with me and inspired me to keep running every year and being able to slow down, but never stop. Run, jog, walk, just keep moving forward. 

Teachers are everything. Because they show us what is possible and they lift us up. Grateful for every single one of them and their lessons. 

Why do we get knocked down? 

So we learn how to not get knocked out. 

Get up.

Keep going. 

As long as we can.
