Well that was an adventure! My first marathon completed as part of the Great British Seaside Marathon. It was much harder than expected, partly because I went off to quick at the start in my excitement, but mostly because the sheer amount of flippin' sand!

Still didn't expect that much though... which means my final time was over 5 hours compared to the 4.30 I was hoping for.

No matter, I've completed it, and I got a big shiny medal to prove it. I will write up a longer post of my day out soon, but for now I'm gonna have a well earned rest!
