NAU Loops, Run 5K, walk 4 miles

NAU Loops

Fourteen NATRA/Sedona trail runners, Soulstice Mountain Trail Run's Little Pup and Verde Valley School's Leo, ran a mostly dry 7.3 miles of the Turkey Trail towards the top of House Mountain. 

The only wet spots were the low rocky drainages that had just enough flowing water for us to splash around in and cool off. 

The group returned to Indian Gardens Cafe & Market  to enjoy brunch in the outdoor grotto. 

Of course as soon as we hit the top of the Oak Creek Canyon switchbacks it started snowing, AGAIN! Will this winter ever end?
