Tired and sore!

Tour of Port Orange

Easing into a moderate effort for the first 11 with Nick and Bill, then 4 mile tempo with Bill, then 4 mile cooldown. This was rough, but not as bad as expected. I am sleep deprived. Wasn't feeling great during the first part and honestly wasn't sure if I'd be able to finish the tempo at all. We started out a bit fast before slowing down a bit. I think Bill had a little cramp and started falling back a little in the second mile. Was pretty slow at halfway, like 527 or 528 average, but apparently that was uphill and the way back was better. Averaged 523. Goal had been 520. But considering my lack of sleep, how windy it was, and the fact that I was in trainers, I'll take it. Cooldown was ok, but I felt very very depleted the last mile. After reviving myself with some powerade that wasn't mine and a clif bar, I went on an hour long hike with chase. As tiring as that was, I was happy that it went well and was pretty nice and sort of relaxing.
