absolutely gorgeous day to rip this beautiful trail as my last big effort before the 50k. took over 20 minutes off my best time! bonked a little at the end but i’m fine with that considering i did a workout tuesday and threshold 2 miles yesterday. took a gel at :30, 1:00, and 1:30. probably could’ve closed harder if i had taken a fourth but good to know i can improve from here. carried one 500 soft flask which i refilled at blind lake. giant unavoidable puddle at mile 4.5 going ccw from silver lake trailhead
