Well, it was a combination of a nice trainig run and a solid effort race with Austin and Nick on my heels. I wanted a good training run without too much overexertion. I got it! Great run. Good effort. Felt fine. I took the lead pretty early and just tried to run consistent without too many surges or changeds to pace. At mile 6.7  I acidentallly ran off the trail and lost it. I stopped and had to look around for about 10 seconds. Then I found it and started again. Kane creek had lots of water in it!
