That was a hot and humid run. I was imagining an aid station every mile, stocked with cold drinks 🍹 and ice 🧊 but it was just a mirage. With three miles to go, we ran by some workers loading the weekly shipment of beer🍺 from a barge container into the back of a pickup truck. That wasn’t a vision! Thank goodness for a few life saving water stops along the way including the outdoor sink at the Central Caribbean Marine Institute. 💦 Without that, Debbie and I would still be out there walking. Well, at least I would!
