One of my best days of the season for sure, felt really good and went in the attack early with another rider. That guy was doing the short distance so I was on my own after 100k. Decided to keep riding at tempo pace and not to overdo myself, the chasing group followed on 3min already.
After 110k I started having stomach issues, I guess I tried to eat and drink a bit too much, and normally I do not drink a lot at all in race.
After 140k I had to throw up and had to stop at the side of the road with cramps too.
Decided to stop, which was probably the wisest decision.
Some days of rest now, reset the mind and on to the next goals.
