Not the most optimal stairs route

Really really enjoyed this day. Was planning to go hard on the Warm Springs climb because it is the KOM sector on this Gran Fondo. Stopped at the aid station at the top of the climb, after the sector, and ate some snacks and talked to and waited for others. Then rode the rest of the day with the group of riders from 3rd-6th place. Caught up with the 2nd place rider at the aid station at the top of the Peters Mtn climb. We drilled it on the way back to catch first place. Near the bottom of the final climb, I broke away and went to catch first place on my own. I passed him near the top and descended all the way back to Clifton Forge solo. Wonderful day, especially because I took home the KOM sector and overall race awards.
