crazy fast. weathered some big digs by the big boys to wind up in the 2nd group (4th-11th or so). no other oldies in there - so i stayed a lil conservative (practical after losing a bottle and a gel bottle to pothole mania?) to stay stitched to the group. last year's champ (great dude Andy S) put in numerous comebacks to make it a great race.
