Unsupported FKT. Previous was 9:30. Finished in 7:43 and change. Goal was to go under 7:30. Was right on pace until I had a caffeinated energy gel on mile 18. Usually I do fine with them, but this made me so nauseous and dizzy that it was hard to put one foot in front of the other. It was a rough couple miles after that. I eventually started to feel better, but never really back to normal. My legs felt fine at the end of this, so I think maybe even sub 7 is a possibility on the perfect day. Fell quite a bit during the dizzy miles, but nothing too bad 😵‍💫 Perhaps I’ll give this another go in the fall.
