Afternoon Ride

A great ride until my rear axle mysteriously broke clean through coming down county line. The only thing holding the rear wheel together was the skewer. I decided to reroute and stick to roads the whole way back from Mississippi Lake in case the bike became unrideable. It didn't stay in gear well, the rear was making constant unpleasant noises, and I had to back off on all the descents, but the bike held together and got me all the way back to the car. My tracker died at 55 mi, but it looks like the overall length still came out to around 60 mi.
