Amazing RIAD!! Will was struggling with the altitude and lots to say, but overall just awesome!
Took skis to Muir, not sure it was actually beneficial at all to have skis because it was super icy to Muir, then skiing frozen sun cups down from Muir, then some slush, then discontinuous snow where we had to transition and hop from patch to patch like 7 times before giving up on the skiing. 
I think like 2 weeks earlier would have been perfect!
