Started early in Danville to beat the heat, but forget to start Garmin. Intended to climb Mt Diablo, but the Park Ranger turned me around as it was 7:20 am, and apparently the park doesn't open until 8. So decided to go do Morgan Territory instead rather than wait. First time to climb up the south side -- the road in this direction is hardly recognizable in comparison to the fast decent in the opposite direction every club ride I've ever done takes. I was the only person in the usually busy parking lot at the top. Caught a photo of a medical helicopter circling above -- but didn't ever see why they were out.
