Tough day but made it with phone and text support from Jeff, my Mom, thruhiking Zen master Flow and Hannah (big thanks ❤️). Started off on buggy, muddy ATV trails for the first ten miles then graduated to 26 miles of road jogging/walking (not joking).  My feet and knees and brain weren’t ready for that magnitude of road time, hence the emotional support calls.  Did stop quite a bit to rest my feet and stretch, definitely helped.  Also was happy to walk right past a Hannafords grocery store in Houlton.  Dunkin Donuts coffee and a deli sandwich mid morning does a lot to boost morale.  Also got to see lots of farm animals, Amish buggies and a bison farm. Proud to have made it through a tough day.
