Humid and hot. Computer said 99 at one point tho more like 88 at highest point 🤔 Did pretty good pacing myself the first 50 miles. Stopped for food at a DG in Casar maybe mile 52-53? Might have been a little too late to keep pumping consistently for the 10 or so miles after that. Definitely limited by perceived exertion, which was good as I never approached the risk of blowing up. Had originally planned a climb up toward South mountains but the access was a rutted out service road… thank god for that. If there was a low point on this ride this was it. Second store stop around mile 73, this time for coke and peach rings; revived for next 10 miles before last stop at a church. It is hot. Glad to be done
