What a race, pushed myself further, harder and deeper than I have ever been before. Obstacle were thrown at me which were out of my control that I needed to overcome and I also made lots of mistakes that I need to learn from. 

The race seamed to be full of low points in my head whilst I was racing with a fine sprinkling of highs. One of them being at the pointy end at the start but then dropped all they way back to somewhere in the 40"s but managed to claw my way back up to 20th position to finish. 

I've got to say a massive thank to Isla for all the motivational video of encouragement and to my family and friends as without there messages I think I would have scratched and I'm so glad I didn't!

So here to the next one in 4 weeks going a little smoother, but it probably won't and I guess that's Ultra cycling for you
