What a weekend... first Moritz wins the Kids Race at the @nuerburgring on the Grand Prix track in the sprint and then I succeed at the 24h roadbike race of @radamring on the Nordschleife/Grand Prix track. Unfortunately, I made it anything but easy for myself, because I tackled the first 3 hours much too quickly and had to pay for it over the rest of the time. It was a great weekend with my buddies from the @witttraining team. My biggest thanks, however, go to Sandra and my two boys. Who provided me with drinks and astronaut food along the route 24 hours a day in shifts. You're great!!! ❤️ #witttrainingorbeateam #orbea #orbeaorca #sponsersportfood #royalbikewear

One drop of bitterness remains... the race had to be stopped about an hour before the end due to an accident involving a helicopter on the route. Get well soon to those affected fellow athletes. I sincerely hope this turns out well for you! ❤️‍🩹
