Wind SW 10-15mph. Somewhat windier than that atop GDF, but not too bad compared to normal. Dry and not unduly cold until Garsdale Head; thereafter light rain turning to 'proper rain' by Deepdate and Kingsdale. A very good day out though, with the wet bit at the right end (and exactly as forecast, so fair enough). The last couple of hours did feel more like a mid-autumn ride than a mid-summer one, however!
