Back On My BS (Bike Stuff)

Ran hard and won a homemade Key Lime Pie.
Woke up feeling like trash.  All the travel and a couple bad nights sleep have me tired and physically stressed.  If it were a workout I would’ve rescheduled it, but it’s a once a year race so I sent it.  Despite physically feeling meh, my spirits were high and I was stoked to be out there.  Ended up running pretty fast actually.  Lost 3 minutes to the leader on the 7.8 mile climb and gained back more than one on the 7ish  mile descent.  My legs were so trashed Im surprised I ran those splits. Overall great success.  Now I need a gallon of chocolate milk and some good nights of sleep before I ramp the volume back up to pre east coast status.
