Kris and I were gonna go over the notch to wrightwood to the 39 and down but were too slow. Was quite hot today and humid. Bike felt good all refreshed and on new slicks. Ran into Doug Silcock - (Manbearpig) at the bottom of GMR. Good talking with you! Had nachos at baldy lodge and a beer at the notch. Ripped down baldy road at excellent speed and passed a Tesla. Legs pretty tired so I wasn’t able to put much power down nor for very long but the big chainring meant I could apply smooth power and get going real fast, which feels fuggin awesome. I missed being able to go fast. Ridge was fun and frontside felt great again having been on a subcompact crankset for about a year now. Looking forward to coming back after some rest so I can put real power down and haul serious ass and maybe chase some homies.
