Bike fit: fighting numbness

My daughter had a birthday party down in Fells Point and so insisted we bike. I feel asleep last night looking forward to it and it didn’t disappoint. We discovered the new bike path through Clifton Park and my heart swelled with this strange feeling that I may have never felt towards the city. Some oddly misplaced combination of hope and love? We had a nice ride all the way down there and it took less time than it would have to drive. I’ll pick her up later this afternoon. 

I then headed out for a wandr. I saw great neighborhoods, a highway along another of the city’s nice parks (Patterson) a bus that was rearended, and dirt bikers, whose chaos and lawlessness I hate.　

I’m now at 71.37% of the city. This last third feels disproportionately large. I look at the map of what’s not done and it seems as large as it’s ever been. I think some of this will pass when I hit 80. Bit by bit.
