That actually went really well! After Tuesday I was fearing this session; legs felt soooooo heavy throughout the day yesterday but I didn’t want to put sessions off too much. Sometimes you gotta do hard things when you aren’t at your best, today being one of those days.

During the warmup portion, I did some quick surges to get my legs spinning. They didn’t feel great so I started second-guessing myself a bit here. Legs felt fine when I backed off but those pickups weren’t too friendly on my legs in the moment. Nonetheless I dredged onward into the workout.

I kept the CV reps right about 10K pace as “crit velocity” is roughly your 30-minute pace. The first rep went smooth enough and from there we just kept clipping them off one after the next! HR dropped out somewhere along the ways and wouldn’t pick back up so I just ignored it. Reps 7 and 8 were challenging in that my legs were pretty well worn out at that point. Still stayed strong and even gave that last little bit a good push!

20-minutes of cooldown was straightforward enough. I did do 2 WHOLE extra minutes to round up for a nice 90-minutes total.
