Flatted and missed the 1 pm cutoff for basic batch. AND THEN FOUND OUT TH COFFEE SHOP NEXT DOOR ALSO CLOSES AT 1 PM?!?!?!

Evening Ride

What a ride by the team. All over everything in the beginning of the race, someone in every move, everyone contributing. Honestly I did the least.  Kyle made the early break of 5 with Sevilla (lol) and rolled that hard (315 watt avg for 3 hrs) and then I was the most forward guy when the group split 75 km in but juuuuuust missed the split over the top of the KOM. One of those where the gap to the back of the group is like 10 bike lengths but it might as well be a mile. BUT Eder managed to somehow go over the top when all our gaskets were blown and bridge to the front. Tyler and Sam ended up with me in the 60 rider peloton/groupetto. Then at 20 km to go some guys started racing again and I went with them. Ended up 17th and we weren’t actually that far off the group sprinting for 6th! It’s really wild how without much information everyone assumes the race is gone (the win was) but it’s not quite the case
