A very patient Caleb Appleton and I took 2 weeks to tackle the famous southern half of the PGD through the Andes! Elevation and heavy bikes was the real killer, averaging 14k most of the time, many days grinding up 16k.

A proper adventure; uncomfortable physically, mentally or emotionally most of the time. It all feels frustratingly hard to put into words. Often beautiful, at times harrowing, always challenging. Relieved to be done, sad it's over.
