A day from sun ☀️ from the start to the end. However in general the temperatures 🌡 are quite nice.

I ciaoed 👋 the lake (Attersee) with the last climbs ↗️↘️ and then I got into flatland. After 20 kms of roads I joined the R4 cycling path that follows the river Traun. That was 50 kms of corn fields 🌾🌽🌾 and river 🌊 with a short scape to go for coffee ☕️in Wels.

I abandoned the path a bit earlier than planned to make a more direct way to Linz and somehow I made it through a special place 🤔.

The entrance to Linz was not beautiful, it was next to a busy road 🚗🚗🚗 on a bike-lane/sidewalk. However it was heart-touching 👉❤️. There was a sign of the company I worked for 12 years just at thr entrance. The company was adquired in April 2019 and it does not exist anymore but there is still a sign at the entrace of the city 😲.

Quick visit to Linz and then I went for the next river; Donau, which seems is much longer 🤯. This time the cycling lane is the R1. It was very encouraging to see 227 kms to Wien following the route 🙄.

At one intersection I did not pay attention 🦋 and followed the "R1 Radfähre" which later on I understood the meaning 😅.

I arrived to a dead end ☠️ and I did not see the boat the sign talked about... Service should run in September as per the info and is not 6pm 🤔. There was a phone number, so I called 📞. 

-Me: Is there any boat service?
-Fãhre 🧑‍✈️: Yes, where are you?
-Me: At the island
-Fähre 🧑‍✈️: Ok, I'm coming
-Me: How long it takes? 🤔
-Fähre 🧑‍✈️: 1 min
- Me: uh 🫨, ok 🫡

He crossed me and I started paying more attention to the signs 😅. The kms that follows are in the side of a very wide river (Donau) and some detours... quite monotonous 🥱
 
However the las 40 kms it changed and remembered me to the scenic part of the Rhein I visited early this year.

At 6pm I got to a new sign that says I have to choose the side of the river for the next 23 kms since there is no bridge 🌁... at this moment I looked for a bed 🛏 and found something 25 kms away. So it was just at the next bridge 🌁.

At 7pm 🕖, I called it a day when the sky started to turn pretty 👨‍🎨🎨.

I left the mountains ⛰️⛰️ behind and it now seems that climbs are only to get into some bridges.
