London Marathon fundraising for Team Bliss; please visit the above website for full details and DONATIONS :-)
The charity I'm supporting is close to my heart, as against the odds, we had the good fortune in August to be able to celebrate the first birthday of my fourth grandchild, George, who continues to delight us with his fantastic progress!! #preemiebaby
RUNNING: I've been trying to keep my heart rate 10 beats below what is my usual maximum for aerobic runs. Currently my running is generally & deliberately not under too much scrutiny from my usual obsessive nature i.e. no MaximumAerobicFunction tests or fretting about performance in any way #maffetonemethod #heartratetraining The plan is to do this for another week, 4 weeks in total, and do my first MAF test sometime early December at the end of this block - I'll then start rebuilding my aerobic base from there. After being uncommitted to any one strategic plan last year in my approach to the 2018 Boston Marathon, it would be nice to have more clarity in my mind this time about how I'm going to train for the 2019 #bostonmarathon race - details to follow. I'll be pinning my hopes for a strong performance there and then 13 days after that I'll be (hopefully) in a more relaxed mode and running #londonmarathon for Team Bliss.
