I always enjoy the scenery and the people I meet on the road, and I'm quick to stop and offer aid if needed.
I’ve ridden in all six of the Levi Leipheimer Grand Fondos, and marshaled three of them. Recently, I sagged for the Giro Bello, and rode the Tour de Fuzz, and Santa Rosa Century, and was fortunate to win some silver medals in the Senior Olympics, age group road race. Prior to moving to California, there were several memorable MS Rides in New Mexico and Colorado, the Tour of the Rio Grande, and the big three day Tour of the San Juans in Durango and Telluride where we raced against the Durango/Silverton Iron Horse (and lost.)
My favorite place to celebrate family days is with Giampaolo and his extended family at "The Cycling Community Clubhouse." He calls it the Riviera Restaurant, it's near our home in Santa Rosa.
