The Marathon starts in the National Park in Brackley and follows the Gulf Shore Parkway to the Bayshore Rd. It then follows Bayshore Rd to Rte 6 and turns right heading back to Charlottetown until it meets up with the Confederation Trail in Bedford Station. The route then turns right on the Confederation trail and follows it to Brackley Point Rd, turning left on Brackley Point Rd. The route follows Brackley Point Rd to the Sherwood cemetery, on the map, it shows runners go through the round about, the route actually goes through the cemetery to avoid the round about and turns right on the Sherwood Rd. At the Malpeque road, the route turns left and heads straight down to the finish.
