This route takes you North of town on some gravel roads. It takes you along the bluffs of the Minnesota River toward the prairie land of Kasota. A bit of caution is recommended when riding a 3/4 mile stretch on HWY 16, just north of the Mankato Airport. This road has a fair amount of traffic at times with not much of a shoulder.
