đStart and stop at Easton's Beach
đ175 Memorial Blvd, Newport, RI 02840
*Start, stop, and safely social distance yourself away from any other runners on the sidewalk at the parking lot entrance for Easton's AKA 1st Beach
*Run along the beach on the sidewalk as you scope out the best spot for your beach blanket âąď¸ (when it's legal to do so)
*Keep that beach view in your mind as you head down Purgatory Rd and up a hill before enjoying a nice downhill and glimpses of Second Beach on your right.
*Turn around at the end of this parking lot to return back to your starting point and contemplate the two beaches - which is your favorite?
đĽłCelebrate completing the 5K distance and making it in and out of purgatory (did you notice the... interesting... elevation map this route has?! Maybe don't run back down purgatory road, unless you are a real dare devil)
