Enjoy a short out and back run from the winery on this popular local country trail pedestrian and cyclist trail. Flat and paved, it passes through vineyards, farm pastures, and the small town of Graton.
Directions:
Exit the winery's main gate and turn left onto Barlow Lane
At Occidental Rd, CAREFULLY cross and turn left, staying on the shoulder. (High speed traffic 1/3 mile)
Run 1/3 mile and turn right onto West County Trail
Run 3/4 mile on West County Trail to Grey Street
Right on Grey Street and then a quick left onto Bowen St
Take Bowen St 1/4 mile (3 blocks) to Graton Rd. This is the center of Graton.
Cross Graton Rd and turn left
Make a quick right back onto West County Trail (this is where the trail starts again)
Run 6/10 mile on West County Trail to where it ends at Green Valley Road, your 2M mile mark and turnaround
Return the way you came, retracing your steps back to the winery parking lot, being extra careful on the final stretch along Occidental Rd
