This route highlights the climb on Cottingham Road. The challenge of this route is round where Cottingham Road climbs out of the valley made famous by Doube's Trestle Bridge which spans the valley just to the north. The road is a bit rough in places but riders are rewarded for their efforts with spectacular views and the satisfaction of tackling a challenging hill.
A mid way stop at Omemee makes for a nice break.
The route makes its way home over Doube's Trestle Bridge, where we encourage riders to stop and look back over the road you have just ridden. When the moment is just right give yourself a little pat on the back!
