The group will roll from R&A Cycles at 8am, and head towards the Oakland Hills using the Lamorinda Bike Path and St. Mary's Road. Once we hit Canyon, we will ride under the canopy of the Redwoods up Pinehurst Road, and down the other side on Shepard's Canyon into Montclair. Then we take Moraga Ave to Piedmont Ave, and onto 40th Street all the way to the Bay Bridge / Alexander Zuckermann Bike Path. Once we land on Treasure Island, we will stop for roughly 10 minutes at the Island Market / Aracely Café for a quick drink / bite to eat. We head back across the Bay Bridge and into Oakland riding on Telegraph to Keith to Broadway and up the side of Highway 24 to the famous Tunnel Road / Skyline climb. This will be our last major climb, as we follow our outbound route back into Canyon on Pinehurst, and back to the shop via St. Mary's Road. Our in-house café, Ramona's Café will be ready and waiting for the group to get back, with food and drinks available. Riding across the Bay Bridge and back has become a favorite route for many Bay Area cyclists, so please come and Join us as this is the first time we ride this route!
