This 35.6-mile, city-to-city loop gives you every flavor of grit, gradient, and grind across fresh bike paths and battle-tested roads as you adventure from San Luis Obispo to Morro Bay and back.
Your gradual descent from the rolling hills of the Central Coast leads you on one of the best road cycling alleys in the area, Los Osos Valley Road, to Morro Rock. A skyscraper on the Central Coast, Morro Rock can be seen many miles from oceanside vista points north and south, but this volcanic cap is just a halfway point—an uphill challenge begins. Rest and fuel up at Morro Bay so you’re ready to soak in the 11-mile ascent back to one of the most bike-friendly cities along the West Coast.
