Upper Corbly Natural Halfpipe

Mellow Windswept Gully

The Upper Corbly Natty Halfpipe is a pretty nice place to get down and out of the wind that plagues lines on the East side. Its only about 400 feet long, but pretty fun when filled in with perfect buff. Top out of the Summer Bowl Headwall and take the trail that heads South and slightly down (not the Sacajawea Peak trail). This will flatten out in a hundred yards or so, that's where you start heading down the gut. The gulley is pretty deep, so there are usually sweet wall slashes to do. Head back up the Corbly trail to the saddle to return. Written by Charlie Boscoe
