It is best to leave early in the morning for this one-way ride to Wollongong to avoid traffic leaving Sydney (Sunday is the quietest day). You could catch the train to Sutherland to avoid traffic and make it a loop via Waterfall Station. This ride takes you through the stunning Royal National Park and along the famous Sea Cliff Bridge before you ride the scenic bike paths along the coast to Wollongong.
