This Bigfoot Route is a mostly gravel route starting and stopping in the small community of Manton and includes fun, rural roads in southern Shasta County. High level turn by turns:
1. Rock Creek Road to State Route 44 – your first 12 miles will be on paved to gravel to paved Rock Creek Road to State Route 44, left here for a few hundred yards to Long Hay Flat Road
2. Long Hay Flat Road - for about 6 miles back to Rock Creek Road, expect paved for the first half and then some rugged gravel before getting back to Rock Creek Road.
3. Rock Creek Road to Forward Mills Road – left on the gravel Forward Mills Road and follow this up some and then along a big meadow area to eventually the Tehama County Line at Digger Creek
4. Forward Road back to Manton - right along the Mill Pond at Digger Creek and follow this road all the way back to Manton.
