Martesana Van Vlaanderen 2016 - Official Route
Rota de ciclismo
Detalhes
101,3 km
1 083 m
Everything started mapping on Strava all those short and steep climbs near the Naviglio Martesana and the river Adda. It seemed natural to me to name these segments with something characteristic of the place, but at the same time that would remind the flemish atmosphere, so I chose to add the word Muur at the end.
The funny part was just at the beginning, I needed to invent a way to cover the maximum number of climbs, and the crazy idea came by itself!
In Belgium they have the Koppenberg and the Paterberg, here we have the Tresskastelmuur, the Padernmuur and the incredibly steep Koncesheiligdommur that have nothing to envy to their northern cousins.
There will be 18 muur, long gravel segments on the cyclepath, narrow roads, always looking for something difficult and adventurous!
It's not a race, there will be no standings and no entrance fee is required, it's only a special tribute ride to the Ronde for people who loves the Northern Classics!
We will ride 100 km for a total of 1000 meters of elevation gain, this is MARTESANA VAN VLAANDEREN and on Saturday 02 April 2016 we will wait you at the start in Inzago!
