This 15 mile mostly flat route that uses cycle paths and quiet roads, leaving Southampton Guildhall Square; we cross the city parks to St Mary's Stadium and continue to the Itchen Toll Bridge to cross The River Itchen to Woolston. We then follow the shoreline along cycle paths to Weston Shore, Netley and Victoria Country Park. We head inland through Hound and down country lanes and passing a number of boat yards and marina's to Hamble. We stop at a cafe overlooking the many marinas on the River Hamble and watch the pink ferry crossing over to Warsash. We then return to Southampton mostly on cycle paths to Victoria Country Park, Netley, Weston Shore and back Woolston to cross the Itchen Toll Bridge and finishing back at Guildhall Square.
