One with the animal(s)...lots of cows, pigs, horses, you name it; the whole farm was out along the countryside roads. I'm not going to lie, when a horse comes right up to your face and breathes on you it does give you an appreciation of just how large horses are, and just how regal of an animal they are. Nice to be back on home roads 🫶🏼. There was some good practice on fast wet descents, with cross winds; I could feel my tire slide a few times 😬. I guess I spoke too soon when I said to myself in Newcastle that the meteorologists' forecast of rain was wrong 😂. Regardless of the rain and cooler (more typical for fall) weather, it was a good day out; a nice reminder of all the things to be thankful for.
