Well hot shit that was fun. Waited for a sec at the top as a couple hikers topped out, then started the watch and parted smiling ways with Laura as I started falling down. Levi flyby was a great stoke boost, however by the first few turns I wasn't feeling entirely smooth so I decided to just try and keep it something that I could theoretically maintain the entire way down.

Boosted up going down the launchpad and hit the turn with a bit more confidence, once again not feeling schwifty making the moves but based on the effort earlier in the day I thought it might be PR pace. From there on kinda just resigned myself to dialing variables to keep whatever was happening still happening. JacobS+Clif flyby on the powdery bit, then hit the drag strip in serious pain but wanting badly to PR now knowing where it is, took of my shirt just after that (or before?) since I just couldn't anymore.

Really nice fall line coming down the ladder, nothing out of control just biggg moves down with almost enough give to cushion (except one big hit on my foot that I felt somewhere in my midsection). Was losing a little motivation coming down that part until a hiker hyped me hardcore and I got the last bit of gumption I needed to try and push to the finish.

Down into Amphi and wasn't feeling fluid but thought I had the push so took a wonderfully direct line down and had zero missteps. Passed some kind folks along the way who all pulled off despite some of them being in big groups, truly many thanks, also Kyle going before probably gave them some good warning lolol. 

The Ice Park had melted out so nicely from the morning, one tentative step but otherwise just let loose and tried (mostly failing) to hold the push until the lot proper. Lapped at the north end of the bridge, then spent a second dying before I realized I should stop my watch for reals. Couple minutes walking around the circle and feeling all kinds of good and bad before slowly starting my way back home. Infinite thanks to the plow crew and all the awesome community for making this all happen, seriously this is why Boulder in the winter works for me 💗.
