Ran at Swedetown Trails https://swedetowntrails.org as part of the Swedetown Shuffle (stage #3 of the 2024 Summer Trail Series https://runsignup.com/Race/MI/Houghton/CopperCountryRunningCompanyTrailSeries) organized by our friends at the Copper Country Running Co.

The first mile-ish was with Andrew, Kim Green and Mare, and all of it was with Kim at a conversational effort. We missed a turn towards the end and got a little more than the official distance.

10x 0:20 strides - in long run form on flat terrain - felt smooth and under control. Pretty trails. Pretty pleasant weather. Zero flies. Very good outing.

Grateful for Kristen Monahan and Thomas Smith graciously carrying my dry clothes to change into afterwards in case I ran to the event from home/Hancock.
