MTB Quantock Quake 24

Long route. Great route again, with some real steep ups and downs. First half felt more full on than the second which opened up a bit to get across to Great Wood.
Couldn't quite clean a couple of hills with the tight ferns and loose rocks on dry dusty ground - may have to go back in the autumn when it's clearer.
Lovely sunny weather, was perfect for a hot summer ride.
New rear tyre insert worked well with all the rocks about - saw and heard of quite a few punctures.
Energy levels didn't work out today from about half way - probably down to Holidays and Norovirus last weekend, so I struggled to stomach taking on enough drink, gels and food.
Some cramping again, but rideable.
My pace dropped right off, for the flats and ups.
Still 6th pedal power, 2nd V50, 14th overall with a large contingent of e bikes. 
Nice debut ebike ride Matt, a bit quicker than last year !
