A handful of miles along the agricultural trail of Emilia Romagna where I think they grow everything not named grape or olive. Stops at a couple more WWII museums. First in Imola that told the sad story of Italian Jews taken to the camps; photos of their identification cards taken and replaced with “stamps”. Clothing issued with a patch having an “I” to identify Italian. Unsuspecting women used bikes to deliver secret messages and relocate Jews to prevent capture. Then on to the Lomabardia region and the museum in Felonica.  Mostly about the River Po and the US bombing all bridges to prevent escape routes for the Germans. Photos of the various grenades and firearms.  30,000 horses were left behind when the Germans high-tailed it outta there.  Note the 48 stars on the original US flag (pre Alaska and Hawaii)
