The last dance

at about 6 hours in I was in 5th and pretty discouraged i told myself I was just ganna put my head down and not check what place I was in until it was dark and when I checked I was in 2nd and  so fired up grateful the legs and the bike  held up the entire race garmin died about 35 mins befor I finished so had about 125 miles started my 10th lap at about 9:40 but 3rd didn’t make the cutoff time to start another lap and I wasnt catching first so I headed back and secured 2nd
